Cantor Colburn LLP, one of the largest full-service intellectual property law firms in the U.S., seeks a patent attorney or agent with a degree in chemistry and who is fluent in the Korean language so as to be able to discuss cases with Korean clients in Korean. The ideal candidate has two or more years of experience as an attorney or agent drafting and globally prosecuting patent applications in chemistry (including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, chemical engineering, and materials science). The firm will offer training for candidates with less than two years’ experience and candidates at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. or Master’s in chemistry is preferred, and a major in organic chemistry preferred. U.S. Patent and Trademark Office registration as an attorney or agent is required.
